ABOUT US

Crafted by a crew that believes skiing and snowboarding should be fun, Skål Gloves brings you the ultimate fusion of convenience and après-ski culture: a glove that opens your can.

So maybe it all started after cracking a cold one or two in the lot after a long day on the mountain...but isn't that where all good ideas come to life?  We were talking through the real problems: cold hands, frozen cans, and the constant on-and-off of gloves, just to get a well-earned beer open. There was no room for that in the ideal mountain routine. So we built a glove that solved a small but well-known problem, without sacrificing quality or performance. The result is a well-made leather glove with built-in can-cracking technology strategically engineered into the thumb.

What started as a lift-ride conversation after a few beers turned into a real product when founder Chase Horton brought Skål Gloves to life in 2026.

Our mission is to make dependable, well-designed gloves that add a bit of convenience — and some laughs — to your time on the mountain. We focus on using quality materials that hold up over time, designing practical products without being overthought, and balancing real function with a sense of humor.

    APRÉS, UPGRADED

    CAN-CRACKING TECHNOLOGY

Patent-pending technology, an aluminum thumb tab slips cleanly under any can top, reinforced with an internal ring for smooth, tear-free opening—no glove removal required.
